Massage Therapy

At Discover Life Chiropractic, we offer more than just symptoms-based therapeutic massage. We work with our clients to discover and eliminate the cause of their problems, to help them build a healthy, pain- and stress-free lifestyle.

We facilitate that by combining soft-tissue massage therapy with chiropractic manipulation and rehabilitation therapy to improve communication between the central nervous system and the musculoskeletal system. Our clients leave our offices relieved of pain and stress and ready to build their way to better health and wellness.

Chiropractic massage therapy helps:

Relieve muscle pain

Relieve pressure on the nervous system

Improve body posture, mobility, and flexibility

Boost the immune system

Improve blood flow and reduces inflammation, etc.

Spinal Decompression

Here at Discover Life Chiropractic, we offer spinal decompression treatments. At our chiropractic wellness center, we will use a traction table and work to gently stretch your spine.

The goal of spinal decompression is to relieve pain in your legs or back. The chiropractor can also help your body create a healing environment. If you have herniated, bulging, or degenerated discs, we can help them go back to normal. We take a holistic approach to healing and focus on your entire body and wellbeing.

What is Spinal Decompression Therapy?

With spinal decompression therapy, we work with your spine to help care for it. The first part of non-surgical spinal decompression involves creating a negative pressure in the intradiscal area. That way, we can reposition or retract bulging or herniated disks.

The second part of spinal decompression therapy involves creating lower pressure in your disc. That will encourage the blood to bring healing nutrients and other beneficial materials into that part of your body.

The staff at our family wellness center are dedicated to the health of our patients. We want to help you figure out what is causing your spinal problems. That way, we can make it less likely that your pain will resurface

Whiplash Treatment

Whiplash is a neck injury that occurs when the head is suddenly and forcefully jerked backward and then forward. It is commonly associated with car accidents but can also result from other traumatic incidents.

If you suspect you have whiplash, it's crucial to seek medical attention for an accurate diagnosis and appropriate treatment.

Here are some general guidelines for whiplash treatment:

Ice and Heat Therapy:

Apply ice packs to the affected area for the first 24-48 hours to reduce swelling.

Neck Support:

A neck brace or collar may be prescribed in some cases to provide support and limit movement during the initial healing phase. However, prolonged use is generally not recommended, as it can lead to muscle atrophy and stiffness.

Seek Chiropractic Care:

Chiropractors can use spinal adjustments and other techniques to address misalignments and promote healing.

Red Light Therapy

RLT is a relatively new, revolutionary procedure that exposes the body to low waves of red light, also known as low-level laser light therapy or infrared light therapy. The red light penetrates the skin and reaches the cells, where it’s absorbed and used to produce adenosine triphosphate (cell-energy).

The cells then use this energy to deal with damage, injuries, and aging, and produce the already famous red light therapy benefits.

Benefits:

Improved skin health

Acne treatment

Wounds healing

Improved hair growth

Pain relief

Bone recovery

Anti-inflammatory action

Cold Laser Therapy

Discover Life Chiropractic specializes in cold laser therapy, a treatment that utilizes specific wavelengths of light to interact with tissue and help accelerate your healing process.

Cold laser therapy can be used on people suffering from both acute and chronic conditions to eliminate pain and swelling, increase functionality, and reduce spasms.

Our chiropractic wellness center is dedicated to ensuring a healthy recovery of our patients.

Cold Laser Therapy Benefits

Here are only some of the benefits of this treatment:

No Need For Surgery

Cold laser therapy is completely external. You don’t need invasive surgeries, but get the benefit of one anyway.

No Medications Or Side Effects

Cold laser therapy doesn’t require you to take opioids or any other medications that have a long-las effect on your body. The therapy itself does not leave you any side effects and pain.

No Down Time

You can get back to work and resume your normal life as soon as it’s over.

Custom Orthotics

If your feet aren't properly supported, you may experience stress or strain with every step you take. Custom orthotics are clinically proven to alleviate heel pain, plantar fasciitis, knee pain, lower back pain, and foot pain. Discover Life Chiropractic offers custom orthotics for flat feet as well as options for anyone who needs additional support.

Whether you’re a nurse, an athlete, a service industry worker, or someone else who is on their feet constantly, we can provide a solution for you.
